It is good to see the FERC applying some good old common sense to the issue of who should pay for the construction of new transmission lines. All too often regulatory agencies set policy that makes very little sense. These regulations will spur development of more electricity produced from renewable energy sources. Only wish the government had started this 20 years ago.
